Reporting to the Director and receiving direction from the Senior Oracle Programmer, the Oracle Programmer performs a variety of duties related to various aspects of data management for the organization, including data being linked and/or extracted as well as being logical, consistent and correctly reflecting the information stored in the databases.
Key responsibilities will include, developing, implementing and maintaining large epidemiological Oracle databases, integrating relational databases into an information system and developing and maintaining client applications using Oracle forms and reports.
To succeed in this role the candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, related experience working with relational databases, strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, SQL and PL/SQL, and demonstrated expertise in Oracle Forms.
