Begonia recently started a new position through TPD’s Recruiting Team in Vancouver, BC. Now, working in an Property Management Assistant role with one of TPD’s clients, we’re excited to see how her career advances!

Was this your first experience working with a recruitment agency? If it was, how did you find the process? If it wasn’t, how did you find TPD different from other agencies?

I have used other recruitment agencies before. However, I've had negative experiences working with these agencies. They would call me to update my profile from time to time, but would never refer me to any jobs. They also asked me to find a job by myself through the internet!

What has your experience with the TPD team been like?

It was very effective. I received a phone call from TPD within 30 minutes of submitting my resume!

How had your job search been going prior to your process with TPD?

I used to find job opportunities through the newspaper or Craigslist.

Do you feel that the team at TPD helped to prepare you for success with your interview?

Through the professionalism of the TPD team, I was directed to the right employer without wasting my time.

What excites you the most about your new position?

I got a position in an company where I feel comfortable, people are friendly and I am able to contribute my experience from previous jobs to my new employer.

What stood out the most for you during your hiring process?

The process was very positive. Angela was respectful and professional throughout the job search. She knew what kind of positions that I was searching for. She was also helpful in the coaching and consultation process.

What is your new work environment and culture like?

I like the company very much! It is full of joy, and very multicultural - just like a family. My boss and coworkers have been great.

I have had many disappointing experiences with other agencies. They even sent me to some companies that I did not know very well. However, this time, after working with TPD, I am confident that TPD can help people with successful job searching. Without a doubt, I will refer TPD to all my friends.
