Accountant - Surrey/Langley, British Columbia

Our client, a care home operator based in North Langley, is looking for an accounting professional to support their team on a full-time, temporary basis for the next 2 months. The position starts immediately, and for the right candidate, it may extend. If you have CPA designation and at least 1-year’s previous experience in an accountant role, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities for this role include bank reconciliations, full cycle accounting, journal postings/entries, ensuring taxes are paid as per direction of our tax company auditors and completing bank reports. Knowledge of Sage 300 is required.

Compensation for this role ranges between $30-$33 per hour. Working hours are from Monday to Friday and a this role offers the chance to grow and develop your accounting skills and knowledge in a great team.

Patient Services Coordinator – Richmond, British Columbia

Our client, a well-known non-profit organization, is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join their tight knit team in Richmond. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will be implementing and executing the patient service programs as well as sourcing additional local support services in various communities. If you are interested in changing lives and working with a dynamic team, then this is the opportunity for you!

Among the Patient Services Coordinator’s duties will be, recruitment and training of volunteer support group facilitators, providing updates of upcoming activities, coordinating and chairing conference calls of support group meeting facilitators and booking transportation/accommodation for patients. Travel for this position is required.

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal communications skills, must be an innovative thinker with strong abilities to problem solve, be proficient in windows-based programs and hold a valid BC driver’s license (Class 5) and access to a vehicle (mileage will be compensated). You will also have a positive and mature disposition and be an excellent team player, creative, flexible and detail oriented. Knowledge in database program Raiser’s Edge would be an asset.

HR Manager – Vancouver, British Columbia

Our client is looking for an ambitious and experienced HR professional with change management experience who is looking for an opportunity to build an HR infrastructure in a successful property development and construction company. Your role will help to drive business performance and build a culture that attracts, develops and retains top talent in the industry.

Among the responsibilities for the role are to act as the expert resource and mentor to employees and leadership in all areas of HR, support and facilitate company-wide changes through cultural and organizational transformation using a variety of change management strategies. Collaborate with departmental managers to understand HR pain points and opportunities, develop relevant and sustainable solutions that support organizational strategy, and developing and implementing HR programs.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration/Psychology or a demonstrated track record in HR; CPHR preferred, knowledge of all applicable labour legislation, including recent developments, HR trends, and best practices. Have 5+ years of experience as an HR practitioner and have experience with building and developing an HR infrastructure from the ground up.
