Scheduler — North Vancouver, British Columbia

Our client, a well-known, large BC-based organization on the North Shore, is currently looking for an experienced Scheduler. The estimated duration of this assignment is a minimum of 4 weeks to cover leave but has potential to be extended. This role is an immediate start.

The Scheduler/Dispatcher is responsible for assisting the Marine Personnel Department and other departments in monitoring the activities of marine personnel.

Among the duties of the successful candidate will be scheduling and directing the crewing of vessels, ensuring qualifications and Collective Agreement requirements are met, scheduling vacation and leave entitlements and supplying a variety of personnel information in this regard to marine payroll and other departments as required.

Testing and Product Certification Technologist – Langley, British Columbia

Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include, extensively testing and evaluating all design concepts and prototypes. This will include analysis and reporting of data and ensuring all products are safe, reliable, attractive, innovative, and meet customer specifications by following certification standards and internal manufacturing requirements.

The candidate will also possess a range of experience including a technical diploma or Engineering degree. Additionally, candidates should have 3+ years of experience in an R&D, laboratory, product development or manufacturing setting, gas experience and utilization of calorimeters, gas analyzers, manometers and various electronic instruments as well as an understanding of instrumentation of components for testing with an ability to perform light fabrication.
