In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for using a gang rip saw, table saw, panel saw cutter, as well as running other millwork machinery. The candidate's duties also include reading work orders, using hand tools, actively promoting safety in the workplace, and partaking in other ad hoc duties.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. CAD/DXF/CNC experience and woodworking experience is considered an asset.

The successful candidate will have the ability to travel for 5-10 days/month and is physically able to lift more than 50 lbs. In addition, the candidate must be able to provide clean driver's abstract. Experience working in the home building industry is an asset.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, the site manager, and project team, as well as working with supervisors and other personnel to develop and monitor project schedules. Additional responsibilities include developing recovery strategies for jeopardized project schedules and budgets, working with the accounting department to ensure project accuracy and timeliness, chair relevant consultant/owner project meetings, and more.
The successful candidate will have project management experience working on commercial and institutional types of projects, along with a university or college diploma in a relevant construction/engineering program. In addition, the candidate will have excellent computer skills and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
